Episode 2

9/16/2003

Films Reviewed: Underworld and S.W.A.T.

Commentary: "Underground" Movies

Featurette: Underworld- behind the scenes

Regarding: Underworld

Matt: A mess.  There is no other way to describe a film shoddily filmed, sounded, acted and overall made.  The actors were bored, and so was I.  Zero stars.

Aron: Granted, it's not very original.  But I did enjoy this tale featuring a war between vampires and werewolves.  The action was pretty decent and I had fun.  Three stars.

Average Rating: One and a half stars.

Regarding: S.W.A.T.

Aron: A solid cop film.  Lots of fine performances and it was a fine way to spend an evening.  Three stars.

Matt: I liked it, too.  Clark Johnson knows cops, and it was pretty exciting.  Three stars.

Average Rating: Three Stars

Commentary: Movies that take place beneath the earth's crust, or on subways, or in sewers.  Examples cited include Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Core, The Goonies, The Taking of Pelham 123, Beneath the Planet of the Apes and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle films.
