Films Reviewed: The Rundown and Duplex
Commentary: Eccentric women
Featurette: The Rundown
Regarding The Rundown
Matt: This was the movie The Rock needed to make to become a Hollywood action hero. Thankfully, he does deliver the goods with one liners, fighting moves and a jolly good time. Three stars.
Aron: I did have fun with this, but it was missing... something. But I do agree that this was the film to make The Rock a star. Two stars.
Average Rating: Two and a half stars (out of four)
Regarding Duplex:
Aron: This was fun. All the performances were inspired. Three stars.
Matt: I had fun, too. Eileen Essel as the old lady was a truly fun performance. Ben Stiller and Drew Barrymore make a really nice couple. Three stars, also.
Average Rating: Three stars (out of four)
Commentary: Eccentric women, all kinds. Inspired by Duplex, we named other female characters that could only be defined as "eccentric". Examples include Harold and Maude, Throw Momma From the Train, Matilda, Hocus Pocus, Rosemary's Baby and more that we can't list here.
Featurette: Behind the scenes of The Rundown, starring The Rock, Seann William Scott, Rosario Dawson and Christopher Walken.
