Films Reviewed: Freaky Friday and American Wedding

Commentary: Best and Worst of Summer 2003

Featurette: Interview with Donnie Yen

Regarding Freaky Friday:

Matt: "I am embarrassed to admit that I've forgotten how wonderful a comedic actor Jamie Lee Curtis is.  She does a great job as the daughter trapped in her mother's body.  The film is quite entertaining, which is surprising considering it's a remake of another Disney picture.  Three stars"

Aron: "Jamie Lee Curtis was great, and so was Lindsey Lohan.  I had a lot of fun with this.  Three stars"

Average rating: three stars

Regarding American Wedding:

Aron: "I did miss the rest of the AP ensemble (Chris Klein, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, etc.), but this was a funny film to cap what might be the last entry in the series.  I laughed a lot.  Four stars!"

Matt: "This film is a sophisticated sex comedy, a heartwarming romance and a nausea inducing gross out fest all in one movie!  How many other films can claim this?  Plus, it's very funny to boot.  Four stars, too!."

Average rating: Four stars!
