Films Reviewed: Along Came Polly and Big Fish

DVD-Tails: "Lost in Space" box set

Featurette: Behind the scenes of Cheaper by the Dozen

Regarding Along Came Polly:

Matt: Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston make a lovely screen couple, but the movie is stolen by all their co-stars.  Plus the story features Ben playing another neurotic who thinks he has a right to be that way.  Can he play anything else?  Two stars.

Aron: Predictable, yes.  Neurotic, sure.  But I did laugh at this.  The supporting cast were better than the leads, but the movie was fun to watch.  Three stars

Average Rating: **1/2 (out of ****)

Regarding Big Fish:

Aron: A delight.  Wonderful performances all around, especially by Albert Finney and Ewan McGregor.  Just a wonderful film.  I've seen it twice.  Three and a half stars.

Matt: This is my second favorite Tim Burton film.  All the performances are spot on and the south never looked more pleasant.  Will this be Tim's Oscar nod?  I won't mind.  Three and a half stars.

Average Rating: ***1/2 (out of ****)

On Video: The season one box set of the TV classic "Lost in Space".  Features include the unaired pilot and stories from the cast.  Also released was Freddy versus Jason.

Featurette: Behind the scenes of Cheaper by the Dozen, starring Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Tom Welling and Hillary Duff
