Films Reviewed: The Whole Ten Yards and Hellboy

Commentary: Best and Worst of Winter 2004

Featurette: The Beu Sister's Music video from Home on the Range

Regarding The Whole Ten Yards:

Matt: More of the same from Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry and company.  I laughed, but like its predecessor, I didn't remember a whole lot about it once the credits rolled.  It is pleasant enough diversion for a Friday night, though.  Two and a half stars.

Aron: The film does have its moments (mostly from Bruce and Matthew), but like Matt said, it's pretty disposable entertainment.  The predecessor was a much better film, but it's still worth seeing.  Two and a half stars.

Average rating: **1/2 (out of four)

Regarding Hellboy:

Aron: Another standard comic book origin film, much along the lines of the first X-Men film.  Nothing to really write home about, but it does have some nifty action sequences.  Two and a half stars.

Matt: The film is called HellboyUnfortunately, the most interesting character in the film is not the title character: it's a fish human hybrid voiced by David Hyde Pierce.  His character alone makes the film worth seeing, but he isn't the title character.  Two and a half stars.

Average rating: **1/2 (out of four)
