Films Reviewed: Hitch and Pooh's Heffalump Movie

Commentary: Our favorite Robert De Niro performances

Featurette: Behind the scenes of Flight of the Phoenix

Regarding Hitch:

Matt: We finally get a movie where the Average Joe wins the heart of the beautiful woman, and Will Smith has to ruin it by being the urban legend known as the "date doctor".  While Kevin James was good as the normal guy, Will Smith brought the rest of his cast down.  Sometimes cute, but not very funny.  Two stars.

Aron: Well, I loved this!  It's hard to believe that Will Smith has never made a romantic comedy before.  With this, he can make several more.  This movie is a lot of laughs and has a very sweet romance behind it.  A definite film to take your significant other to see this Valentine's Day!  Four stars!

Average Rating: *** (out of ****)

Regarding Pooh's Heffalump Movie:

Aron: The voices in this new adventure with the Hundred Acre Wood gang are so seamless, it's as if Sterling Holloway is still with us!  But it's really a film for the under six set.  Still, it looks good and it's cute.  Three stars.

Matt: My only real issue with this movie is its title.  Little Roo is finally given the lion's share of the story, but he isn't in the title.  Still, finally getting to meet a "heffalump" is a lot more amusing than I thought.  Definitely for smaller fry.  Three stars.

Average Rating: *** (out of ****)

Commentary: Since Raging Bull was released in a Special Edition DVD, Aron and Matt looked back at some of their favorite Robert De Niro performances, which included a variety of work from playing gangsters, taxi drivers, stalkers, weirdos and one Fearless Leader.

Featurette: Behind the scenes of Flight of the Phoenix, featuring Dennis Quaid and Giovanni Ribisi
